Welcome to Canaan Art Summer Camp! The experience of our summer camp goes far beyond enjoying the fun activities. We associated with art, culture, academic, drama, field trips. Campers learn character building skills, develop greater self-confidence, leadership and team building skills. They develop friendship that can last a lifetime. Canaan is the ideal choice for your child, there are several factors bring us to a huge success for this summer.


Canaan located at Hwy 7 and McCowan, in and around downtown Markham, surrounded by breathtaking parks and trials such as Centennial Park, Milne Dam Conservation Park and Raymerville Woodlot.



We have served 200 boys and girls aged from preschool to grade school, from different cultural backgrounds, Chinese, HK, Taiwanese, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Indians....


Art & Craft: 

Children get to know a wide range of ideas, activities in terms of art and craft. They make cool crafts using recycled materials, create critters from natural objects, make beads, mix up paint and much more!


Everyday academic: 

Math, English, French, Social Science, Science


Weekly Field Trip:

We offer outdoor nature programs which are designed to get children closer to nature while having fun!

Nutritious Family Style Meals: 

with plenty of excellent and nutritious food to choose from, all of our meals are served family style with camper eating in their class at round tables. We serve rice, noodles, pasta with most main courses and also provide delicious vegetarian alternatives.

Camp Director

Bachelor of Education. Registered ECE. May has been working with children over 25 years. She is experienced in working with children from age 0 to 17. She believes creating a relaxing, safe and supportive learning environment is the most important factor for a camp.  She has invited teachers from different professions to be involved of the camp, aim to provide the best summer camp to our students.
